I explored Google Earth and Google calendar. I think Google calendar will be especially helpful once I am in the classroom so I can enter all the dates of various meetings and when reports are due so I can be prepared. Google Earth was very interesting! I typed in the address of where I grew up and some places I visited as a child. It was fun seeing the sights from that view. This is a great tool to use in the classroom especially with geography. As a teacher in a military town, I could also use the deployments as a teachable moment and show the places where the soldiers are deployed. So much Google, so little time! I added the link to the photo of my childhood home from Google Maps since I could not figure out how to find it in Google Earth. Home Sweet Home!
