Thing #19

I joined Teacher Pop earlier this semester and have added a badge to my Facebook page. I like the fact that Teacher Pop is a social network but with the focus on education and teaching. Having a social network where there is common interest is appealing. This site will be beneficial even after graduation as a way to keep in contact with former peers and so we can continue to share ideas as we journey into our first year of teaching. I think once I am in a job and and know what grade level I will teach (hopefully kindergarten!!) I will look into more sites, but for now, Facebook and Teacher Pop along with the blogs I am following are enough!
