Somehow I managed to skip the discovery part of Thing #3! One way I would use a blog during my teacher education program is to have the ability to share thoughts, suggestions, concerns, frustrations, etc. with other students I am in classes with. Having the support of your peers as you are going through this journey toward licensure is crucial! Or at least I think so! Knowing someone else has the same concerns helps me to remember I am not alone. Being supportive is very important!
In my future classroom, I think the same principle applies about being supportive of each other. Blogging about the challenges of teaching and sharing ideas would be a great tool for teachers. I could also have a blog about the events happening in the classroom for relatives of the students who do not live close by or parents who may be deployed. Anne Davis gives many great examples of how a blog can be used in a classroom and I will be bookmarking her page for future reference.

Lol:) I have managed to skip over things too. It's tricky at first but after a while it's easy. It is defintely all about support MA. No one likes to feel alone. Peers who are going through the same thing makes things a little better. Blogging about challenges MA...hmm..interesting...I think of it as frustration cause you can't get it together. You girl, insightful post.
