As with all the previous discoveries so far, learning about Flickr was enjoyable! Setting up the account was not hard at all, just follow the steps. Navigating through the other options, like joining the group and trying to figure out how to get a URL to upload the photo to the blog was a bit more difficult so I opted to just upload from my computer. I thought adding a personal photo would be fun! This photo was taken March 2008 (by Amanda Dalrymple) during Dr. Seuss Week. I had a kindergarten class I was subbing in (all year!) and I loved the opportunity to do something fun with the students.
I have a Snapfish account I use as a photo hosting service, which I really like and will continue to use. I can order my prints to be picked up at Walgreen's in one hour and the price is decent. I wasn't really happy with having the photo I uploaded to Flickr marked for public view. I like a more private feature for sharing with only family and friends.
