My first thoughts when reading the assignment was "Great!", I'll find a new scrapbooking site! But after looking at the options, decided on Care2 make a difference. With awareness of new health concerns for myself and family members, the name of the website captured my interest first. After looking around I found information on heart healthy recipes, ways to create a special Valentine's day without the expense, and information on why you should have sex more often! A little something for everyone! The list of popular tags are clearly labeled on the left and a few advertisements and surveys you could partake in, as well as the most popular and commented on articles are on the right. Under community, there are many groups you can join to share insights, wisdom and just swap stories and share experiences. You can also join a cause and by participating in a daily action, save part of the rain forest or raise money for a cause you are passionate about. There are even alternative ways to participate offered for each action. While this site would be more suited for high school students, some of the content may not be appropriate for students without some supervision due to the more mature nature of the topics. I was glad to have been introduced to the site though, and will be going back to explore more! http://www.care2.com/
